A fitting Class - From Planning it to Wearing It!

June 27th from 1 to 4

In this 3 hour session, you will learn how to plan a project to achieve the perfect fit for you! You will:

Measure and diagram your body for a variety of lengths fits and sleeve types;
Choose a basic pattern and learn how to adapt it for your unique shape, and
Discuss variations in yarn and needle sizes emphasizing the gauge swatch as an essential step in a successful project

This class includes:

Diagrams for a woman, man and child
Follow-up help on a drop-in basis to help you complete your class project.

Note: This class size will be limited. Make sure you bring a friend to help each other measure.

News at the Store

Our reception and fashion show with Joe Raffino of South West Trading Company was a great success! Joe brought over 50 items knitted with SWTC yarns, and Jane and Alex tried many of them on.

We are building an order for SWTC based on the wish list of those attending. For example, SWTC has a number of projects based on the mitered square. A group of us will be beginning theses projects soon and will set aside an afternoonto knit together. Check out the Peacock’s Best Vest in Tranquility. You really have to see this one…It comes in a kit with a choice of 4 different color combinations, or choose your own combination. Other mitered square projects include the child’s mitered jacket and adult mitered jacket in Karaoke.
